Chor Bizarre - London, has introduced a new food and wine pairing
menu in its pursuit to demonstrate that Indian food goes well with
wine.
Charles Metcalfe, one of the Britain's
foremost wine observers, has worked with Chor
Bizarre's top chefs, Deepinder S. Sondhi
and Manpreet S. Ahuja, to create a menu, which combines classic
Indian dishes and wines from around the world.
The pairing menu will be available in the restaurant with a large
number of wines by the glass. Guests will have the opportunity to
sample any two half glasses (one each with the starter and main course)
for the price of the cheaper of the two glasses.
Pairings of wine and food on the menu will include Coconut
Mussles with Sunnycliff Chardonnay
or General Billimoria's White; Salmon Tikka
with Gavi di Gavi La Meirana or Chablis
ler Cru; and Duck Anarkali with
Marques de Grinon Rioja Reserva or Rosemount
Shiraz.
